Windansea Beach

Windansea is a bruise of surf and sun tucked into La Jolla. A palm-thatched surf shack crouches by jagged granite outcrops as waves fold and break, sending salt into your face and a surfboard parade beyond the rocks. The sand is narrow and intimate, so every incoming swell feels like an announcement. Benches on the bluff collect early joggers, people with thermoses, and couples who come to watch the light go pink at sunset.
